U.S. MARINE CORPS
Calling forward the few who are willing to earn their place among Marines and fight for our nation’s future.
As an art director with the team, we pitched and launched the “Made For This” Recruitment campaign while also providing full service brand work for The Marine Corps Recruitment Command.
MADE FOR THIS CAMPAIGN
As Gen Z’s motivations and belief in our nation have shifted with the dawn of social media, technology, and uncertain global political climate, “Made For This'“ is a 360 recruitment campaign exemplifying the unique traits of Marines while calling forward prospects willing to win battles as our nation’s warriors.
We worked with real Marines to create five commercials strategically crafted to work on a movie screen and on social. Expanding the campaign, 100+ digital creative assets were delivered between broadcast, radio, social, and refreshing the Marine's website.

Made for This•My Why
As prospects are often unsure if they want to join the Marine Corps, we saw the opportunity to ask Marines the reasons why they joined the Corps, how it gave them a new sense of purpose, and expanded on the campaign’s messaging showing what makes Marines made for this.

Made For This • Marine Made
As Marines are forged to fight in “any clime, any place”, the team brought that fact showing prospects and audiences just how Marines are made to fight in any climate and conditions — desert, snow, and jungle.

Made For This • Meet The Marines
As it can be daunting for prospects to even consider themselves becoming Marines, since the Marine Corps has always shown real Marines for all their recruiting creative, we gave prospects the chance to connect further with the main characters who were featured in our broadcast commercials.

Made For This • Photography & Paid Media
As Gen Z can see straight through ads, our goal was to create a photography database that showcases the raw and gritty nature Marines have when they fight. Collaborated with photographers and our team of designers creating assets for the campaign’s paid media (digital banners/social) and trafficked of over 100+ digital assets.

Warrior Ethos
On Parris Island, citizens undergo the transformative process to become Marines, we interviewed Marines and learned just what it takes for them to become Warriors through an Ethos which has been carried through generations of the organization.
Director/Editor: Jonathan Hayes
Fit to Win
We interviewed five Marines to create a series explaining how Marines are more than just physically fit. As technology has evolved to a point where wars can be won with a click button, Marines require themselves to be just as mentally and morally fit.

To provide thanks to those who support local communities, every year the Marine Corps sends their regards to Public Service Directors reminding them to run our PSA commercials supporting the Marines.
